First, let me say I did not mean to offend, but this is the internet and
there are all kinds of people out there. I set up this group as a support
for family members because that is what I am...a mother of twin girls with
CAH. I had questions and hoped someone out there could help. All sorts of
questions. I'm game for anything. But as open-minded as I think I am, this
is a family oriented page (as I made blatently obvious in the group
description) and I have a responsibility to the group more than for one
individual.
The following is the list description:
This list is dedicated to the support of family members with Congenital
Adrenal Hyperplasia and related disorders. We welcome all questions and
discussions relating to this subject. It is rare that we ever get to meet
someone else dealing with the same difficulties and we'd like to use this as
an opportunity to get to know each other, as well as inform new parents.
Please note that this is a family-oriented page and appropriate language is
required.
I do believe that Debbi gave you some options where you might find your
answers. Just in case you missed it, here it is again:
At congenitaladrenalhyperplasia.org , there is a alternate forum where some
of
the your needs might be addressed. I think it is called controversies forum
or
something. There is also a LOCAH site and I think that forum is mostly adult
women.
-Debbi
So, before you go being "saddened and hurt" by my response, I want you to
realize that we were indeed trying to help you. But this is not the site
for that discussion. I could have just as easily deleted you from the
group.
