Hi all!
Well we've all been relatively quiet lately, but I have a question for the more experienced folks here. The twins (I never call them that anywhere else, but somehow here I always do...LOL!!) had their regular check-up Monday with yet again, another new doctor. Ahhhh, the joys of being in the military and moving around constantly! LOL! Anyway, he seemed nice enough and requested all of the same tests, gave me some more information that of course, we've all heard over and over. But then surprise! He wants to change their meds from cortef to prednisone suddenly. We've been on 3 daily doses of cortef for 13 years and have grown pretty comfortable with it. And I've never heard anything positive about prednisone...there's the weight gain, and so many other side effects I've recently heard about. He said we could wait until their next appointment to do it so I could do some research and feel more comfortable with this decision. So, anybody......HELP! Positive experiences, negative, etc. I'm willing to listen to everything!
Thanks in advance,
Angi
