Jenny,
Unfortunately I have no advice for you. We've been in the military for
the entire time the girls' have been with us....and have always had problems
too. Just wanted you to know I can totally sympathize with your situation.
We've actually been able to buy a supplement insurance to our military
coverage, but had to pay for two years before coverage would begin.
Unfortunately, they decided to drop us after a few years of being covered
because TriCare (our military insurance) was "too difficult to deal with".
They were bought out by another company who covered us, and then when we
moved to NC they decided to drop us all together claiming they didn't cover
anyone in the Carolina's....I suspect its because 50% of the armed services
live here! LOL! (Actually, it's not funny, but its either laugh or cry at
this point!) So, we're back to hunting. I know we need to get them into an
insurance plan before they get out on their own, which is probably sooner
than I'd like! Let me know if you find someone who will cover your
daughter, and if I find someone, I'll post too.
Angi
