Hi Jenny,
My name is Tammy and I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter that has
sever salt wasting CAH also. We did not find out that she a girl
until she was a week old. My Husband Wayne's parents were with us
when we found out and they still insisted she had to have been a
hermapherdite. the way we had to handle it was to tell them they
either stopped calling her a hermapherdite or they stop comming
around. They did not talk to us for about two months and they started
contacting us again. They have not said anything even remotely about
her being a hermaphedite since. Just thought I would share that with
you because I understand how cruel people can be even family the ones
that are supposed to be there for you. I hope this helps a little.
Thank you,
Tammy
