Re: [CAHsupport] intoduction

HI,

Welcome to the group. I'm Nicole, and I have 3
children ages 5, 4, and 2. My 5 year old son and my 4
year old daughter both have salt-wasting CAH but my 2
year old is not affected. I was a stay at home mom
until my husband passed away in June, so now I am a
stay at home mom/working mom (I work graveyard so my
kids don't have to go to daycare).
Having both a son and a daughter with CAH, I have
pretty much been through it all so far-surgeries,
crisis, hospitalizations, etc. Feel free to ask
anything you like.
I currently live in Orlando, Florida, but have had
experience with many doctors in Dallas and Maryland
and over the years, have made many contacts through my
conversations about CAH. Good luck to you. It is
nice to be able to rely on the experiences, knowledge,
and support of others in the same situation sometimes.
I have consulted other group members regarding just
about everything and we all try to help each other.

Sincerely,
Nicole Rice and family.
