Hi Roberta!
Well I read through your packet and I don't see any reason for them to be freaking out. The only thing that would affect them really is giving him meds (which daycares do ALL the time) and possibly an injection in an emergency, right? I've never had an emergency happen like that,....we've always been close enough to a hospital to zoom them over and fortunately, they've been relatively healthy kids, considering everything. I don't even take meds to school....they take them as they walk out the door at 8am and then at 4 pm after they get home....works out great! (Oh, and of course, bedtime.....our doctor told us not to worry about 12 midnight anymore at about 6 years old....man I was getting tired! LOL!!)
Well I hope it goes your way....but if they don't think they can handle it, you're probably better off.....although, I'd still be pissed too! Good luck!

They called me and said he could attend. I was so happy to have him in a safer environment and closer to my work. Well today I filled out all the paper work and explained the CAH (see the attached fact sheet on it). They freaked out and said that they can't take him until they speak to their lawyers. I told them it would be very bad press for them and that I was working with my Senator on CAH testing and awareness. If they say no - I am going to be pissed!! I think they realize that but it is so much stress!! I will let you know what happens.Roberta Preston
