I just ordered the Bully Xtreme 3 yesterday. I'm no stranger to PT as i've been training most of my life as support for other activities ( martial arts related ), but I grew sick of going to the gym everyday and spending my precious time there to get any significant result. I really hope the BE3 is working for me but I don't see why not. I just need a little more variety than the usual push-up/free squat/crunch/pull-up combo I've been doing for the last year or so...
Anyways, I can't wait to receive the gear, it should be here in about 10 days or so, and I'll definitely keep you posted with the results...
I Know that you will be very happy with it it adds alot of different movements
and is a lot of fun... take it everywhere. BobE

are there any training videos showing the proper way to do all the exercises.
All I have seen so far is still pictures with you talking.
Some of the exercises in the chart that came with my BullyExtreme3 are not very clear to me.
I am a "If I can see it done I can do it kind of guy" if you know what I mean.
I am very happy with this amazing little portable gym so far and I can see and feel the difference in my body.
The day I received it I didn't even bother changing out of my work uniform and immediately did every exercise on the chart. Wow it nearly kicked my Butt.
Later that night I started checking out the info on the site and learned a little more about it.
A couple of weeks later
my girlfriend walked in on me doing some exercises and said "Oh I see you are using your little exercise thing, how cute."
Not in a mean way mind you but I said yeap babe I sure am you want to try it?
She tried a couple exercises just one or two of the stomach ones and she immediately gained respect for just how powerful of a little thing it really is.

I am what you would call a hard gainer. I hate going to crowded gyms. I currently weigh 170lbs. I would like to get up to 200lbs. by next summer. Do you think with following your routine and not lifting any weights I can achieve this goal by next summer? I have always been told I need to be lifting iron plates in order to put on size. I am not trying to look like a bodybuilder I just want to put on a little size and get out of the skinny category.
Hi,

Have you ever thought about why so many of the old-time strongman used
isometrics and isometric exercise equipment in their workout programs?
Recently, I was doing some reading about Milos of Croton. He was a six-time
Olympic champion in wrestling. This all happened sometime about the sixth
century BC.
Milo as a young boy made a decision that would change his life and make him one
of the strongest and most powerful individuals increase at that time.

One of the many mistakes that people that use the old Bullworker training program to is that theyworkout too frequently.
If you were doing freehand isometrics, it is perfectlyacceptable to exercise every day. However, when you're using a Bully Xtreme, resistance bands or free weights isometrically -- then you need to give yourmuscles some rest.
That is why you will hearabout people complaining about getting or having a "Bullworker elbow" problem.
This is becausethey don't follow proper exercise protocol.
If you were doing body weightexercises or freehand isometrics you can exercise every day -- when you add inprogressive resistance -- then you must give your body a chance to recuperate.
If you were trainingfour days per week and you're training different body parts each time -- it is perfectly okay to train every day.
For example, you could usea workout schedule such as this:
Monday: chest
Tuesday: back
Wednesday: shoulders andabdominal
Thursday: biceps andtriceps
Friday: legs, hamstrings,and calves
This is a -- one body partper day -- workout schedule you would do 3 to 4 exercises for each body part. Thenumber repetitions would fall into the 8 to 15 reps per set. Where youwould use an isometric hold at the end of each set.
You can also follow a workoutschedule such as this:
Monday: chest and biceps
Tuesday: back and triceps
Wednesday: off
Thursday: shoulders andabs
Friday: legs, calves, andhamstrings
The days that are notlisted -- Saturday and Sunday -- would be rest days.
I would also recommendthat you do some form of cardiovascular training such as bicycling, walking, jumping rope, or the Bully Xtreme circulation exercise or the Bully Xtreme seatedrowing exercise -- for fat burning and cardiovascular training -- three daysper week.
You can do them on workoutdays or on your off days.
Resistance Training more frequently than this -- such as doing a full body workout everyday as isrecommended in the old Bullworker training program -- which is still beingpromoted today -- is just plain dumb and will lead to injury.
I cannot recommend this enough -- PLEASE DO NOT -- train every day using any type of isometric exerciser, resistance bands, free weights or anything that uses more than yourbody weight as resistance!
I hope this helps

This a good question imo. Too bad there wasn't an answer to it. :(
But I would think that u could time it similarly to, for example, the barbell
example you gave: pushing in for 2 and letting out for 4, or pulling out for 2
and releasing for 4 (or whatever numbers chosen).
Still, I'd like to see a 'pro's' answer to this.

As you may know I have spent a lot of time studying Bruce Lee -- this all
started in my youth -- and if you know my story you know that's one of the
reasons why I created the Bully Xtreme.
Here is a recent article I wrote that explains some of the training concepts
that Bruce used to get his ripped and muscular body. I know you will enjoy it...

Bruce Lee -- was in my opinion years ahead of anybody else in terms of strength
and conditioning.
In fact, Joe Weider -- you know the guy that got Arnold Schwarzenegger into the
United States and featured him in all of his bodybuilding magazines -- he called
Bruce Lee an innovator and the most ripped man he had ever seen!
What did Bruce Lee do to get in incredible shape?
To get the answer read this article "Bruce Lee Workouts - The Secret Exerciser."

days off between muscle groups. I have it broken down to 2 muscle groups each

any suggestions???
I am from bombay, have been using bullyextreme since 2 weeks and would like to

The Brad Pitt workout changed from the movie Fight Club to Troy.
In both movies Pitt was lean but in Troy he added another 15 pounds of muscle to his body.
In this article I will give you some detailed information on the two training and fitness programs.
In
the movie Troy, Brad Pitt played the role of Achilles -- a mythical
warrior from Greek history. Achilles according to Greek mythology was
the handsomest of all the heroes assembled against Troy. According to
the legend Achilles was supposed to be invulnerable, except for his
heel.
Well perhaps legend is right Brad Pitt was the most
handsome gentleman on the screen in the movie Troy. But perhaps his
weakness is not in his heel but in other things. Certainly making money
is not one of them... he was paid $17.5 million to be in this movie.
The
Brad Pitt workout started 7 months before filming for the movie Troy
began. Brett admitted to giving up cigarette smoking during this
intensive training. According to his personal trainer, Brad Pitt used
compound movements for the majority of his weight training program. He
also did stretching and yoga to prevent any muscle injury.
The
interesting thing about the Brad Pitt physique in both of his movies --
Fight Club and Troy -- is that his physique is not what some people
would call... bodybuilder big.
Rather what he portrays on the
screen is a muscular -- yet ripped to the bone Brad Pitt body. Judging
the response by women in the audience, this is what they are most
attracted to. So if you are trying to get Arnold Schwarzenegger big --
you probably won't score any points with the ladies.
The Brad
Pitt workout for Fight Club was totally different than his workout for
Troy. In Fight Club, Brad Pitt weighed between -- 152 to 155 pounds and
his body fat levels were between five and 6%.
* The Brad Pitt workout for Fight Club used the following repetition and set scheme.
* Three Sets of Each Exercise
* Rest for Only 60 Seconds in between Exercises
* Use Enough Weight or Resistance That Allows You to Perform 15 Repetitions
* Use Proper Form in All Movements
Would you like to have a flat, ripped to shreds six pack abs like Brad Pitt?

At
my site you will also learn about a quick and simple five-minute per
day easy-to-follow workout program that you can use to get started
right away ask?
I'd like to know can one get mind-blowing body-building results by just
holding each exericise for 10 seconds only - without any repetitions.
I do 14 exercises for each area of the body, for a total of 28
exercises...every other day.
