Hi Friends,

Valentine's Day is a good day to express our appreciation, love, gratitude
or kindness to our friends, colleagues, teachers and family members.
Through simply presenting a stalk of rose, it does effectively convey our
thoughts and messages, which are often beyond words. Indeed, this graceful
gesture can be very meaningful by dedicating it to the less fortunate ones,
to those need more care and support. Henceforth, Shan You Counselling
Centre intends to promote this spirit during the forthcoming Valentine's Day
with 'For Love, For Charity' roses.

During Valentine's Day, Shan You staff and volunteers will be appealing the
public to purchase roses. The funds raised will then be channelled to
support community services meant for our beneficiaries; i.e., children,
youths, elderly and families (details can be view at www.shanyou.org.sg) who
are really in need for help.

We hereby appeal for your esteem organisation to support our Valentine's Day
fund raising effort. We will bundle the Valentine rose and a handphone
string at $10 for a good cause. Our volunteers/staff will be pleased to
deliver the fresh roses to your office, thus your fellow staff members will
enjoy the convenience of purchasing fresh roses directly.
