On Sunday, October 5th, 2008, AFSP New Jersey
Chapter will host it’s 5th Annual Central
Jersey-New Brunswick Out of the Darkness Community Walk on the
picturesque grounds of Buccleuch Park, located in New Brunswick, NJ and travel
its paths in support of suicide prevention.
We welcome you to join us as we take steps together to help save
lives.

- To join an existing team, click on the Team name on
the right of the screen, scroll down to bottom of page and click on
"Join This Team" or
click on "Register now" You will be able to register a team or as an individual walker.
Please consider reaching out to family, friends, neighbors, and
co-workers. Support of the community walk helps to erase the stigma surrounding
suicide and its causes by raising awareness, and encouraging those who are
suffering from mental illness to seek treatment. Proceeds from the Out of the
Darkness Community Walks which are held nationwide benefit the American Foundation
for Suicide Prevention. Your tax-deductible contribution will support AFSP in
it’s mission to understand and prevent suicide through research and education,
and to reach out to people with mood disorders and those affected by
suicide. Thank you for supporting the American Foundation for Suicide
