I will be going to the church Grotto today to light a candle for Brett.  I not only miss him on his birthday but EVERYDAY.  I remember him from the time he was a little boy coming to my home here in Florida.  He helped me plant an orange tree in the year 2000.  It froze out the next year but I refused to get rid of the dry twigs and low and behold, it came back to life.  It is now about 5 feet high.  It should start to produce oranges by next year. Even if it doesn't it is a living memorial of Brett.

Today marks 32 years since Brett's birth in Oceanside, California.  As I write this, we have a beautiful clear blue sky here just as it was the day he was born.
