I hope you are well...  I still remember and think about Brett often.

I was on vacation in Las Vegas when 3/11 rolled around this year...  I'd actually lost track of the date cuz of the vacation.  I was headed out to Hoover Dam this one particular day and got a really weird/uncomfortable feeling walking thorugh the casino to the rental car but didn't give it much thought.  On the ride to the dam, "Wish You Were Here" played on the radio.  I realized at that moment that it was 5 years ago that day.  I can't believe how the months and years fall off the calendar.  I really wished he was here then and do now.

His absence still leaves a hole in my life and circle of friends.  I pray he found the peace he wanted.

I can't believe 5 years has passed that I've been without my cousin who I love so much.  Words can't explain how much he is missed.  Brett is in my thoughts and prayers daily, I will carry him in my heart forever. The memories of the time we spent together are fresh in my mind and still bring a smile to my face and at times a laugh.  We had a great childhood growing up as close cousins along with Crystal, Justin and Mitch.  God bless him.
