My dear Meningimates,
I think this is a valuable government clinical trial resource for all meningioma
and neurofibromatosis patients, with new, spinal, recurrent, remainder?or
multiple primary brain tumors depending on what type of adult brain tumor cases
they are currently looking to study.?

I strongly believe one of the major reasons they do not have more Phase 3
clinical trial government?research studies for our type of meningioma tumors is
because not enough adult meningioma patients volunteer to participate, and few
of our doctors will even mention or recommend it to us.?Only 5% of adults with
primary brain tumors get clinical trial care, the are planning to limit those
Phase 1 and Phase 2 trials to 250?bts pts diagnosed with GBMs, while 50 or 60%
of pediatric cancer patients and young teens get the best clinical trial care
for their brain tumors, because their parents do their computer research
homework and request the very best available care for their kids from their
trusted primary care doctors.

I wish more of our significant others were as concerned about the quality of
our?care as most parents are, not?just a nice?popular local neurosurgeon who
mostly does back or spine surgery or at a community hospital that might not have
as many experienced neuro intensive care staff on duty around the clock for the
initial recovery period to avoid serious complications.?

I?really liked being in a large Phase 3 clinical trial SWOG 9005 because
Mifepristone had already been tested in smaller Phase I and Phase 2 trials so it
was proven safe and effective for some people at least.?? And I felt better
mentally too because I knew I was being carefully and frequently MRI monitored
and?closely observed with medical blood testing, etc. and?I didn't really want
to have another recommended surgery while our?three kids were still at
home?and?I felt like my medical care was not being overlooked or minimized
because my tumor was "only" a benign grade 2 meningioma.

Please Contact Dr Howard Fine to see if you are eligible for brain tumor
treatment at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda Maryland, and please
don't let travel or lodging costs be an issue or problem for you.? There are
medical angel flights?available if you have a proven financial need and
assistance for any US citizen if you?lack health insurance?coverage.?? If they
decide to take your case after the first individual consultation where you will
have many tests and learn a lot more about your condition, then they offer to
pay for your treatment, future travel and lodging.?I personally know two of our
online meningimates who did this, Joy had the initial consultation with Dr
Howard Fine and his staff and?Bonnie Lovett had her very successful brain
surgery treatment there too.? They were both very satisfied and glad they?went
there.?

PS Bonnie Lovett looked absolutely terrific with her big smile, thick flowing
black hair in a very smart slim black pants suit at the Jan Florida Bt
conference last month. She is such a beautiful?enthusiastic sweetie and a good
sales woman!

I wonder if anyone else on our m lists has done this eligiblity consultation
yet? Please let us know how it goes if you do...?
