Many of you are aware that the waiving of the 2 year waiting period for individuals entitled to receive Social Seucrity Disability is a policy priority identified by the North American Brain Tumor Coalition. You can help by sending your story to Kathleen, an outstanding brain tumor activist from Rhode Island. Stories about delays in treatment because of lack of health insurance coverage prior to Medicare kicking in are needed. Your stories do make a difference. Please share this with others you know. Thanks in advance.

Dear Brain Tumor Advocates,
I asked for testimony for Sen Jack Reed's office in Rhode Island since he and I are working on a Medicare and Disability bill. It was a story in your own words on problems being declared disabled or problems getting on Medicare, NOT MEDICAID. Many of you sent me testimonies but the other night while on the computer our phone pole was hit by lighting and blew out my computer, my tv, my next door neighbors computer and tv, radio etc.
I have lost all files. I am rewriting this requesting those tesitmonies again. I am using my neighbors laptop right now.
If you would be so kind to resubmit them to me before Labor Day I have a meeting with the Senators office soon.
Thank you for your cooperation
