hello all,
i am undergoing gamma knife for new tumor lesions, along the midline, they are
superficial to any brain tissue so i'm confident this will keep them from
growing. All is well, with me otherwise. the other 3 lesions from my second
surgery in 12/2000 have remained stable. Not sure why these nasties are growing
in new areas. This treatment has shown successful results for me otherwise.
i.e. no side effects!!! yippee, well accept for the headache from the drill
sites they put the head frame on.

Any way, any questions regarding gamma knife and my treatment i would be happy
to fill you other folks in on.

take care and bless all of you!!

Hi mates,
I saw my neurosurgeon today who gave me good news and bad news.   The good news is that the tumors that were treated with gamma have decreased considerably.  The bad news is that I've got two new tumors.  One of them is treatable with gamma.  The other is right next to the "old"  superficial tumor and my doc is recommending surgery because it's too close to the scalp.  I am consideriing proton beam.
I have too much on my mind and I had planned to get away next week which is exactly what I am doing.  As soon as I get back, I will be going to Boston to look into proton beam treatment.
Again, thanks for all your support, guys.   You've always been there for me and I appreciate it very much.
