Just ran across a very good site to help patients and families find a place to stay when you have to go out of town for medical treatment - whether family members of the patient, or the patient yourself when going for outpatient treatment.

For internet veterans, this site is not hard to navigate. Start at "Hospitality Hotline" and go from there.

For internet beginners, here are a few tips on using this site

- click on "Hospitality Hotline"
- then click on "Member Directory"
- then select the state (Oregon, for example), here's how:
        - click on the little arrow
        - slide down
        - click on "OR"
        - click "GO!"
- then select city (Portland, for example):
        - click on the little arrow
        - slide down
        - click on "Portland"
        - click "GO!"
you should see a “Directory of Houses” (shorter lists for smaller cities…)
- click on a listing for one of the houses, you should see info (address, phone, email, etc., plus a “Request a Room” link)
- if it says: “No information is currently available for this listing” you should be able to look in the phone book for that city and give them a call.
