Please let me know if you can help me with these questions. I have a
5 yo son who has a severe brain injury to his mid-brain. He has very
poor balance. Has anyone tried doing any of the spinning, pitching,
etc. exercises that are described in Doman's Physically Superb or How
smart is your baby books?
Also, he bites/chews a lot. Doesn't matter what the texture. He'll
chew on paper, toys, socks, washrags, cardboard puzzle pieces, etc. I
tried giving him gum, but he eventually swallows that, even though he
doesn't usually swallow what he chews on like paper. This has been a
problem for a long time, but I haven't seen it addressed in any of the
Doman materials. Please let me know if you have experienced this and
been able to curb it.
Thanks!
Rose
