The FIRST thing we want you to realize is that YOU ARE NO LONGER ALONE !!!!!
You have come to a group of wonderful people who are connected and bonded by a little monster called an aneurysm !
We have all been touched by an aneurysm in one way or another. Some of us are survivors of a ruptured aneurysm and others are patients whose aneurysm didn't rupture and have been treated. Still others in the group have aneurysms that are being "watched and monitored" by their physicians.... some are awaiting surgery... some are family members and some are friends of survivors, while others have lost someone they love to an aneurysm and are here to share their emotional journey with whomever may benefit from their experience. Considering their loss and what they have endured, they may very well be our strongest members by far!!
Please know that NO question is a "dumb" one... feel free to share and express your concerns, fears and experiences with us. No one here will judge you !! Answers and replies are opinions of members NOT medical advice from qualified physicians. Always see your doctor for serious medical problems. We are here to support and share and learn and educate in every way we can...
With a membership of over 500 there is certainly someone here who totally understands what your are thinking and feeling... most likely several members have been where you are today !!
While we are sorry that you have a need to belong to a group such as this, we are glad you found us, because we have been there and every one of us knows first hand what it feels like to think "I am totally alone here, and I am scared !!"
THIS IS AN OPEN BOARD AND WILL ALWAYS REMAIN SO... WE FEEL NO NEED TO DENY ACCESS TO ANYONE WHO WISHES TO VIEW THIS GROUP !!!
