BioMedHeads is a Yahoo group FOR PARENTS (no teachers or providers)of autistic kids currently treating their children with Biomedical Interventions. We are not a group for beginners or those testing the waters.

Just give us a list. If you just say "I want to learn more about my options" we hit "deny membership." Please be specific. Sorry, we don't have time to chase you for info!

We are a group for people who post REGULARLY - we're not a research/lurkers group. Please think about that when you apply. When we accept you we really do want to hear from you!

Our members believe in the "one-two punch" of addressing our kids' very real internal issues and then providing the best external therapies available. We think ABA is a powerful tool -- but that conditioning therapy is inappropriate when the behavior is the result of painful physical problems.

Biomed interventions include DAN!, YASKO, BioFilm and other protocols. Diet, supplementation, viral treatments, HBOT, NAET allergy treatments, chiropractic and more.

And let's have a little fun for goodness sake! Some of these groups are like a funeral... Gluten free does not have to mean "humor free." Our signature cocktail is the IMMUNITINI by the way, lots of vodka, hold the mercury....
