COMMUNITY INPUT NEEDED

 

TO ASSESS OAKLAND ¢S WIRELESS BROADBAND NEEDS & OPPORTUNITIES

 

The Office of the Mayor, the Oakland City Council and the Department of Information Technology are exploring how city services might be enhanced by wireless broadband technology, and looking for opportunities to support economic development, boost public safety, improve quality of life, and increase public internet access.

 

We need to hear from Oaklanders in every district of the city and all walks of life.

 

Councilmember Nancy Nadel is looking for volunteers to participate in a diverse focus group discussion.  This session will be held at West Oakland Senior Center , 1724 Adeline Street at 5:30 P.M., September 25, 2008.
