Cleo,
I know you said you'd prefer a lotion or cream, and have you also
heard that papaya is known as a skin lightening agent? O make a
papaya soap and there are many other natural papaya soaps out there
as well. Many,. many popular papaya soaps in the phillipines toted as
skin lightening.
In adition to some of the ingredients people are suggesting, you may
also want to include a papaya base in the lotion or creme. a few
more natural skin lighteners are:
Bearberry Extract
Kojic Acid
Licorice Extract
Mulberry Extract
Glycolic Acid
Lactic Acid (better suited for sensitive skins)
Lemon Juice Extract (very effective is skin lightening, but can also
be irritating to some)
I do believe that if you search for these ingredients, you'll find
them to include in a lotion or cream of your own. Carrot extract and
carrot EO are always good in skin complexes no matter what the
ailment.
Hope that helps,
Diane
