I'm in Greenwood SC and have been banded since August 2008. It took my last
fill which was earlier this month before I felt any restriction. Now I'm losing
weight and most times have to force myself to eat. My question is, do any of
you feel cold when losing weight? Sometimes I get so cold that I jump into bed
and bundle up. I just want to know if anyone else freezes while losing. It's
been a long year with monthly fills which did nothing but tease me. Now I
finally know what a "sweet spot" is.

Ruthann, yes what you are experiencing is normal.  We have banded over 2000 patients in the last 5 years and it is more common than not, that our patients become colder faster when they no longer have the excess fat to burn.  Congratulations on your loss and good luck.  Douglas  (WLSC).

Thank you Doug for your reply.  I was starting to think I was the only one with this problem.  I have also been urinating a lot since my last fill.  It that normal too?
