Ruthann, yes what you are experiencing is normal. We have banded over 2000 patients in the last 5 years and it is more common than not, that our patients become colder faster when they no longer have the excess fat to burn. Congratulations on your loss and good luck. Douglas (WLSC).

I'm in Greenwood SC and have been banded since August 2008. It took my last fill which was earlier this month before I felt any restriction. Now I'm losing weight and most times have to force myself to eat. My question is, do any of you feel cold when losing weight? Sometimes I get so cold that I jump into bed and bundle up. I just want to know if anyone else freezes while losing. It's been a long year with monthly fills which did nothing but tease me. Now I finally know what a "sweet spot" is.
