I am not sure what your doctor's post-op diet rules are. If you are
still in the liquid phase, calories do not count during this time, so
sip, sip, sip away. If you are now in a soft food stage, make sure you
are making the most of the soft protein options available to you.
Protein shakes, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc. are crucial for getting in
that protein.
Just take it one day at a time right now and you will get thru this
time and before you know it you will have forgotten all about it.
