Hello All!

A while ago I had to change my address on my existing, full driving
licence.

I obtained the correct forms, filled them in and sent them back.

Whilst filling them in I looked for the subject 'Organ Donor' it was
not mentioned.

A few days ago my new-style licence came through the post, examined
Card & Paper Bit carefully, no mention of 'Organ Donation'.

I eventually found that there was a mention of organ donation in the
booklet which came with the licence, I also found they had a Customer
Care Team with an Email Address.

Detailed everything to them and had a reply today...

Quote.....
Please return the licence to DVLC with a cover note stating you wish
organ donation to be added.

Short & Sweet?

Yes, I have sent my driving licence back with that request, I don't
drive any more but the licence is a very effective identification
which I carry almost everywhere...

What I do wish though...
That DVLC had acknowledged the lack of facility for organ donation on
a change-of-name-or-address on a licence...

&, That more people would be made aware of this facility.
