Organ Donation ~ Aleyn   Message List

Hi All!
Have been speaking to my friend in the USA about organ donation, here
is an extract from his latest email...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The way that we donate parts of our body or organs after death in the
US is to sign our driver's licenses with our request. At least that
is the most common way. I have signed mine so that anything I have
that can be used to give someone else a better life is OK with me.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OK, I don't drive anymore but, still carry a drivers license as a
means of identification.
Wouldn't it be nice if our our Driver & Vehicle Licensing Department
took this action?
Regards ~ Aleyn

[Moderators Note: They do on new applications. Presumably when we change to
plastic licence version one can then, too?]
