Re: [BODY-UK] Organ Donor's Families

Hi Brian
That's a question we all must ask at some point!
It's my 8yr old son who's the recipient and I am in contact with who I call his
donor mum,she lost her 10yr old son 4 yrs ago and his organs were donated to
save more than just my lad's life!
I personally would like to meet someday and I know of families who have done
this and benefited from it.
My son's still too young to fully understand where his new tummy and liver came
from and until he enquires himself I'm not volunteering the info, when he's ready
and IF he wants to meet the donor family then it's something we'll tackle slowly
and carefully.
Are you a donor or recipient yourself?
Catriona
