Biological Education for Autism Treatments. A Parent Study/Support Group headquartered in Minnesota, yet open to all states. Mission: To provide an open environment for discussion and sharing of information on different biological treatments and therapies for individuals on the autism spectrum. To provide support to families impacted by autism and resources to assist with efforts to improve the quality of life of their autistic children.
Guidelines: All information and resources shared by this group are for educational and informational purposes only. We are not endorsing any specific therapy or treatment. This group will at times refer to specific professionals by name. You are more than welcome to consult with these professionals, but this group makes no recommendations or assurances as to the quality of services they provide. Every autistic individual has unique medical problems and histories and must be treated accordingly. Consideration and respect must be given to personal beliefs. Our group will not discuss behavioral or educational interventions and occupational and speech therapies.
