I got this forward today and thought you guys might be interested in it.  I am not sure if the person is working for a company that sells "playground" equipment or just toys, but there are some web links to click on for more information.  Kids n stuff is fun either way!

Subject: Center for Creative Play announces workshops at Kids 'N' Stuff in Albion

Dear Pamela,

I found your contact information through the Michigan Department of Education website, and I am writing to ask your help in spreading the word about an important workshop opportunity coming up in your area.

I work for Center for Creative Play® (CFCP), a nationally recognized leader in the design and development of fully inclusive play environments.  CFCP’s mission is to educate people about the importance of play for all children, and the organization envisions a day when every child and their family will have access to all-inclusive play environments.

Next month, CFCP staff members will be traveling to Albion to perform a universal design assessment at Kids ‘N’ Stuff.  While we are in Albion, we will be offering two exciting workshops – “I Can Play: Play as a ‘Fun-damental’ Experience for Every Child,” and “‘Sense-ational’ World: Sensory Integration Theory in Everyday Life.”  These workshops will be ideal for educators, therapists, social workers, early intervention providers, child care professionals, parents, and anyone who works with children.  They will be presented by Ingrid Kanics, OTR/L, a Play Environment Specialist who has recently received a national award for her work in the field of occupational therapy

I am writing to ask you to share information about these workshops with your colleagues, any families you work with, and anyone else you think might be interested.  Please feel free to pass along the flyer describing the workshops, which you can access at: http://www.time2sing.org/Upload/News/Albion1007.pdf

I thank you for your support and encourage you to contact me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Kate Reilly
