I wanted to let you know of an opportunity coming up that you may want to take part in.  David Gruber from the Michigan Department of Special Education Mediation Project will be at the Nov. 20 SMART meeting at 9:00 am for a presentation on his program and how it can help local school districts who may be dealing with mediation or hoping to prevent it!  This will be at the beginning of our normal SMART meeting.  Please pass this on to people you think would benefit from hearing this presentation.  I sent it to addresses I had.  David said the feedback he has received mentions that this would be great information for people more directly involved with the local districts such as Directors and Supervisors.  It is from 9:00 – 9:45 at KRESA in conference room C & D.  If you can RSVP to me that would be great so I make sure we have enough supplies.  I have included a link to the MSEMP website for you.
