The picnic was a blast! Thank you for coming. The park was not filled with lots of kids. There were no issues with the river. There were maybe 50 people in all that were there. One family showed up just to find out what autism is all about. Some were there from the support group. It was really nice to be able to talk and share our experiences with each other. The Enquirer & News was there to do an interview and pics, however he said he'd call me later to finish the interview because I kept walking away from him...to talk with people...you know how it goes....multi-tasking. Maybe 80 percent of the people there, were there for the picnic.
For those who missed this one, there will be one in Kalamazoo on Aug 23, 11-2 behind the Oshtemo Fire Department, next to the Oshtemo Library. This is off of West Main, past US-131 about a half-mile or so. You can RSVP for that one with Trina Wood at our website, www.asa-kal.org.
See you in September!

Was anyone able to attend the picnic? How did it go? If I would have
had my kids this weekend, I would have been there!
