I think that Jim (salesman) mixing liquor with milk is a great example of the disease being "cunning".  I was one alcoholic who had to learn the hard way about trying just a little vodka after a year..  In my case it worked for a few weeks  until I had an itty bitty obstacle come my way.  It wasn't long beofore I was full blown and worse.  Since then, I have been very vigilant.  Now I do n't have to really think about it at all.  It isn't an issue.  I try to stay close to my HP.
