I am a psychologist who is conducting research about smokers for a =
global pharmaceutical company.  The research activity is to hold a set of =
web-based focus groups with cognitive-behavioral therapists.  To that end, I am
contacting cognitive-behavior therapists with at least three years of
experience working with smokers.  The research will require =
approximately five hours of participants' time and they will be paid for their
participation.=20

The research is a pilot study with a plan to extend the research if the
results of the pilot are successful.  The goals of the focus groups are
= to(1) identify approximately five common smoking situations (e.g.,
contemplating quitting, procrastinating about quit attempts) and (2)
identify the thoughts (conscious and automatic), beliefs, and behaviors
=in those situations for those who successfully quit and those who do not.

The research results are intended to support a number of decisions =
including
the design of a web-based behavior support program and appropriate =
content
for educational and advertising campaigns.
