Subject: JSU position
Hi,
Here is the follow-up job descritpion I said I would email. Thanks for
your help.
See you in Chicago.
Bill
The Department of Psychology and Philosophy at Jacksonville State
University is seeking applications for tenure track assistant or
associate professorships in Psychology to begin Fall Semester 2008. JSU
is nestled in a picturesque mountainous region midway between Atlanta,
GA and Birmingham, AL. The behaviorally-oriented department is seeking
additional faculty who will complement current faculty and add to the
breadth of our undergraduate and graduate curriculum. Although the area
of concentration is open, candidates with a behavioral analytic approach
to their field of study are especially encouraged to apply. The
successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach both graduate
and undergraduate courses and engage in scholarly activities. It is also
expected that you will be involved in other departmental and
institutional duties, such as academic advising, committee processes,
practicum supervision and thesis direction. The rank and salary are
contingent upon qualifications; experience and needs of the university.
Positions at the rank of assistant or associate professor are available
for well qualified Ph.D.s. Review of applications will begin January 21,
2008 and continue until the position is filled. To apply send
application (available on our web site at www.jsu.edu), vita, copies of
transcripts, and three letters of reference to Jacksonville State
University, Human Resources, 700 Pelham Road North, Jacksonville,
Alabama 36265. Minority applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
