AutismRecovery WA is a group of families who are practicing and seeking knowlege of biomedical treatments for autism, and providing info & support for parents seeking to help their children recover. The group was formed for parents to share the latest biomedical treatments and research, and strives to encourage a base of knowledge in the state of WA and surrounding areas. Efforts include, but are not limited to, outreach to the community, education for physicians, the public, lawmakers, educators, and state agencies.

Membership in this group is restricted to parents of children with autism, with few exceptions, so that we are comfortable discussing our children's needs.

This group also works to educate those involved with our children’s decision making on medical needs and treatments, works to get insurance carriers and Medicaid to recognize biomedical treatments are medically-necessary; and encourages our higher education entities to develop viable programs that will graduate knowledgeable suppliers of treatment options in a state-wide community starved for services.

Members of this group support the local support group MOCHA, the annual Autism Day at Jubilee Farms, and many others. Our families are aligned with the following organizations: DAN!/ARI, SAFEMINDS, NAA, A-CHAMP, Generation Rescue, Unlocking Autism, Autism One, & TACA.
