If I remember Connor-- he's pretty young isn't he? You could try the
one fourth mg per pound ratio and that would be a little easier for
you to cut up. Are you talking about mixing a half days worth in the
sense that you are pre-mixing it into a liquid form? What some
parents have done, is use paper dixie cups--those tiny little
bathroom sized cups... you divide the dmsa capsule into the little
piles on a plate, and then scoop one little pile into each cup, along
with any other supplements that you are giving in the liquid, and
then fold the top of the cup over. You can keep the line-up of cups
on the counter, and as you need one, then you simply unfold the top,
and pour your liquid (lemonade?) into the cup and stir it up and
serve. This makes it easy to take a dose with you if you need to go
somewhere, too.
See if you can use a spatula or razor blade to divide the pile of
dmsa in half, and then keep halfing it until you have 12 piles. That
should be OK for each dose--it's a little over 8 mg's per dose.
It's just really hard to divide much smaller than that.
