I guess if you had a cup of water handy, this might work. It is
similar to how we taught ethan how to swallow a pill. We put tiny
white homeopathic pills in the end of a straw and then had him open
wide and we blew the pill to the back of the tongue, and after a few
tries, he got the idea that he could swallow a pill.

I have also read that putting the pill UNDER the tongue and then
giving them the glass of water to drink can work because for some
reason, the mouth lets the pill out with the water and then the child
can swallow it down easily.
