Sure, Andy. Although the recent hair analysis (August 2002) did not meet
the counting rules for mercury toxicity, total toxic exposure was well into
the red level, with arsenic, bismuth, and antimony still in the red levels.
Here are some additional tests and dates.
April 2002 Copper/zinc ratio elevated at 1.6 (normal range 0.7 to 1.0)
Unbound copper at 35 (normal 10-25)
Tests run were zinc (65) at SmithKline Beecham Labs
Copper (107) and ceruloplasmin (48.6) run at Armstrong Labs
Ammonia (45) run at Quest Diagnostics
Sept 2001 Intracellular trace minerals (MetaMetrix), severe
glutathione depletion (Great Smokies), and elevated
homovanillate on urine organic acid test (MetaMetrix). Per
Dr. Holmes, this is a "classic" heavy metal pattern of
mercury toxicity.
Plasma sulfate slightly elevated at 6.40 (Great Smokies).
Stool analysis (Great Smokies)
2+ candida guilliermondii
2+ candida albicans
Unidentified unaerobic bacterium
Mild molybedum deficiency
Moderate magnesium deficiency
Marked zinc deficiency
Elevated ammonia elevated at 63. Recently, have brought
this down to the high range of normal (45) with the addition
of AKG 2-3 times per day. It has taken over 6 months to
bring ammonia levels down.
Hair Toxic Element Exposure (DDI)
Elevated arsenic, copper, bismuth, tin, and titanium
May 2002 After the tests run for copper, zinc, and ceruloplasmin
we began 3 months of more aggressive zinc uploading (70
mg./day), with continuation of vitamins c, e, magnesium,
B6, taurine. We have been doing supplementation with all of
the above for 2 years. Slow, steady improvement made during
this time without chelation.
Sept. 2002 Began MT Promoter. 1 capsule (175 mg.) once per day, 3 days
per week. After 8 weeks, began 2 capsules once per day, 3
days per week. He has been on it 15 weeks now.
Results we have seen: Stimming has almost entirely gone
away. This was an afternoon ritual for my son and an
ongoing problem for 4 years. He would talk very loud and
flick his fingers in front of his face. His articulation
has gotten clearer, with the R and S sounds noticeably
improved. Word retrieval has gotten faster. Expressive
language much more detailed with longer, more difficult
words used. Ex: extraordinary, unbelievable.

Subject: Re: MT Promoter - what is it?
People may find the earlier discussion of Elizabeth's son's hair
analysis at message number 57442 informative and relevant. He
apparently didn't have a heavy metal problem or high hair copper.
I'd certainly appreciate it if Mrs. Morabito would be so kind as to
discuss his other lab results, and describe how the MT promoter is
helping him, and how much.
Also if anyone else has had a substantial improvement on MT promoter
I'd appreciate details on or off list.
