Re: [Autism-Mercury] DAN! protocol question - Andy, Moria, etc.
> can't help you with teaching to swallow, i'm fighting that one myself - she's
3 in 2 weeks. However, since she has so many that she takes, i went to petsmart
and got a pill shooter made for animals (no i'm not a bad parent) it pushes her
tounge down and puts the pill the back of the throat and she drinks right
afterward. we've been doing this about a week, she no longer screams, takes her
pills in less than one minute and knows to drink afterward w/o being told....
after about the 2nd one she does tell you "all done, finished" bc she wants it
to be over with. this has been wonderful for us. she wouldn't eat the food or
drink anything that had supps in it, and some taste so bad it's not even funny.
you may want to try this and maybe in a while he'll be able to do it on his own.
it's a theory anyway.
