I have successfully employed this method too. I dissolve 25 mg of
DMSA and 25 mg of ALA in a small amount of juice (2-3 ml) in a urine
specimen jar by shaking it vigorously to try and get as much as
possible dissolved. I then draw it up into a fat syringe and squirt
it into my boy's mouth. He involuntarily swallows the juice and has
not woken up yet, although he can occaisonally cough a little because
the powder does not fully dissolve. I keep the doses a little low to
try and minimise this.
I have never tried more than one squirt for fear of waking him. More
juice and more squirts would ensure more powder is dissolved and
could be needed for large chelator doses.
