Maybe. Maybe not. It is surprisingly hard to figure things out.
What sulfate does (among many other things) is to remove the
substances that act like adrenalin. Adrenalin is what you get when
you are anxious, excited, scared, etc., and as you know people do puke
from anxiety all the time. This is a known effect of adrenaline and
adrenaline like substances.

Maybe. A lot more likely mercury was never there and bismuth was.

Do stuff about the bismuth or titanium, see what happes. I do NOT
know what to do, but trying some DMSA for the bismuth may help.
