okay, i'm considering chelation as well as my son. Figure if I'm going to wake him up in the middle of the night for dmsa that misery loves company.
I know for our kids we say absolutely positively no amalgam fillings in the mouth during chelation. My son has none, I have one left. This is a great improvement, I had most of my primary teeth with amalgam, most of my permanent, and then they've been removed and replaced. Also worked at a dentist office and made amalgam fillings. Rather than testing my hair I want to simply take the dmsa, test my urine periodically and see what comes out.
Question (oh now you can see this one coming a mile away...) do I have to remove my one remaining amalgam filling. Its in a 12 year old molar, its not large but its not a tooth I want to monkey with- being a rear molar I don't want to mess with it if I can avoid it.
Thanks
Alice
