RE: RERe: [Autism-Mercury] question about amalgams

Thank you so much for the info. I will definitely read up on it. Sugar is
something that I will have to address with my son since his yeast problems are
huge.

Check into raw milk and kefiring along with fermented foods like sauerkraut,
etc.. ( I have recipes) -- info is on the weston a price site.

It can help reestablish the beneficial bacteria that you need to be healthy

The specific carbohydrate diet really worked wonders for my son..

http://www.scdiet.org/

http://www.pecanbread.com/BTVCautismchapter.html -- info on autism and how
the sc diet has helped many resolve their gut issues and make significant
gains. Etc.

it was better than the gf / cf for us. Getting rid of sugar and replacing
it with maple syrup, honey or stevia was a big positive move as well as
introducing all the beneficial bacteria to the gut, etc.

Also a good cook book to own in nourishing traditions by sally fallon.. it
has a lot of info besides just recipes. Etc..

Recipes from the olden days, before people got sick from dumb diseases like
cancer, etc.

Sally fallon gave me a real perspective as to why so many people are getting
sick these days.

These things have helped me more than I can say..

You can combine all of these things into something that will work for you.
A way to get strong before the chelation.

That is exactly what I had in mind: TD-DMSA.
It is still in the future though. I made the mistake of taking my son off
the GF/CF diet (which has helped him soooo much) this summer to see if he
would start eating a variety of foods. Good grief, did we suffer because of
that. We are now dealing with toe-walking, finger biting, stimming and
massive emotional outbursts - things that we have not seen in years.
Anyways, it is back to square one and introduce the diet and all the
supplements all over again, so chelation is still in the future. I learned a
valuable lesson though: If it is working, don't mess with it!

Yes! If you are using a TD (transdermal) chelator, you need to use
something like a bottom of a shot glass to administer and rub it on his
skin. You will be fine. We personally use oral chelators per Andy's
protocol.
