Based on what this article says, Altern is identical to Splenda and
can be substituted. I am going to check it out next time I'm in WM,
as Splenda can be expensive!
Splenda is a brand name of Sucralose, as is Altern. Many grocery stores
are now carrying their own versions of generic Sucralose so that you do NOT
have to pay the higher price of buying Splenda.
They are all the same thing, as long as they are Sucralose.
