My advice is to clear out the foods that are not allowed from your
kitchen and plan ahead by using the grocery ads to see what meats and
other Atkins friendly items are on sale. This is how I do it. If you
have a Walmart near you, you can buy a 10lb bag of chicken legs and
thighs for less than $5. Also, ground beef is usually pretty cheap,
and hamburgers with spices and cheese (no bun!) are good for lunch
with a salad or salad veggies like celery. Fresh veggies are cheaper
if you can find a local farmer's market, and they are usually fresher,
too.
You don't have to go broke to follow Atkins. Think of all the money
you are NOT spending on the other foods that you can now spend on
Atkins foods!
