Re: [ atkins diet recipes ] Active Groups

I jumped off this diet a long time ago. Not that I didnt' like the
diet or it didnt work for me, it was a mental slip that I have
regretted. I lost alot of weight and now i gained it back but believe
me it was NOT cause i went off the diet, I know its cause of the food
choices and all I made, it took a long time for it to come back and
bags and bags of candy.

Now that I am interested in going on this and staying on it, i see
the prices and the changes that have happened in atkins. No persons
pushing the name out there. No vitamin packages to help (i loved that
vitamin pack!) just a few bars or whatever with atkins name in
Walmart. The worst thing of all? The foods that help sustain us are
some of the most highest in the store now.

I don't believe its the diet, its the economy and the publicity.
What lil studies have been released all say atkins DOES work. So i
think it will always be here just packaged under different promoters.

I hope to be able to submit recipes to the group fresh ones and
affordable. But right now I just hope i can get thru induction
without backsliding, i do not have the "tools in foods" that helped
me before.

one thing that helped me was the low carb candies from hershey's, i
used to eat like a half of one and it helped me get passed like
trying to dive into a bowl of something really damaging. now i find
myself constantly thinking of that!

So yah its got to be harder to get on the diet and stay on it. so i
can understand some quiet times.
