I'm with you. I've noticed what makes the biggest weight loss different
is not sugars/carbs etc... but rather, protein protein protein.
Doesn't matter if I eat 70g carbs or 20 carbs. If I'm not getting my
80g protein in, then forget seeing the scale drop.
Everyone's weight loss is different. Prior to my surgery, My doc told
me my weight loss would be slower than most because I have a lot of
peripheral weight. He said I would really need to focus on exercise.
Sadly, being in school fulltime and working fulltime have discouraged
much of my work-out sessions, but I am working on fixing that.
