I'd like to contribute something to Aspies-Anon's "how to manage" library. It's
an article written for the general public, but it
contains concrete, followable advice that I wish I had had seven
months ago.
Seven months ago, I felt compelled to quit my job over accusations of
belligerence and manipulativeness.
"I think you are mistaken," was all I could manage, at the time, to
say to my boss. Now, seven months later, the accusations still sting.

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Aspies-Anon/files/ now has a folder for
DISCUSSION TOPICS that contains this great article! Thanks for sharing this.
It is not strictly Aspie, but we are so often caught in this dilemma that it's
great to have this article. I too wish I'd had this advice when I was being
critiqued. -Zer
> Coping with bad job review? (NYTimes, June2005)
> Discusses how to respond most constructively to a negative work review. This
article is not specifically for Aspies, but we are so often in this position
that the article definitely is useful. I wish I'd had this info at hand when I
was being criticized at work.
