NT partners/spouses of individuals suspected to have, or officially diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome connect here with people facing similar situations, who understand the realities of relationships with a partner on the spectrum. Our group is a safe place where we talk about our experiences without facing disbelief, finding people who are familiar with our experiences and who offer empathy and support.

We recognize and address the typical challenges that arise from being in a relationship with a partner who has Asperger's Syndrome, share information and strategies for coping with the stress, confusion and misunderstandings that occur. Here we discuss our situations, learn more about Aspergers and find ways of coping with the realities of our relationships. This group is for people who seek support to find ways to help themselves and their partner to live a richer and more fulfilling life with less conflict and more cooperation. Partners in these relationships sometimes suffer from loneliness, isolation, and feelings of emotional abandonment as well as low self esteem. We compare notes, share resources, ideas, coping strategies and lend support to people involved in relationships with Aspies.
