Dear Doctor,

I can't really remember when I started thinking I had 'herpes', but It
all started like this. a few months ago, I was sitting in a swimming
pool, and someone told me, that sitting on the sides of it, could hold
the bacteria of the skin virus : Herpes.. I have completely forgotton
about that until now. Again. I don't know when I thought I even might
have it. but. Yesterday, my anus area started to be painful. but I
figured since on and off , I randomlly had digestion problems, I had
the runs, and the acid was painful. but. I checked, and I had what
looks like one zit on the bottom of my anus. I know herpes is
uncurable to this point. but I don't want to go to a doctor, or tell
anyone else about this. I've done random searches around the internet
to see if this is really what I've got. If you know anything that
could get rid of the herpes virus, please tell me.

I will say, I am a very clean person, I wash my hands over 10-15 or
more times a day. and when I use public washrooms I do not touch the
toilet seats, at all. Please , Doctor, I'm counting on you to tell me
if this is really herpes, or if It's something minor. Reply soon. I'm
going to need it.

I am not aware that herpes can be transmitted by the swimming pool.Herpes
Simplex virus Type I and II are more likely to be transmitted sexually.
If you want confirmation of the diagnosis and treatment to attempt to eradicate
it from your system,you can't help but to consult your doctor.
