Dear Dr. Hamid I have IBS and last year surgery was performed to
correct a fissure also a hemroid. Now here is my question I,m getting
rectal contractions that feel like I am constantly squezzing myself
also pain and nausea in my stomach. After I go to the bathroom I feel
nausea. I don't know if this is related but I also feel fullness on the
mid-part of my lower back, dry mouth with mouth ulcers and burning and
I,m always constipated with constant false alarms. Dr. Hamid please
help me!!! I saw my gynocologist and had blood work done for everything
because it made me very nervous and everything was negative for
communicable diseases. Sir, please give me your advice?

Dear Margaret,

All what you felt could still be part of the Irritable Bowel Syndrome
symptoms.It is very difficult indeed to manage these symptoms.What you need is a
constant follow up with your Gastroenterologist who can from time to time adjust
the medications that are suitable to control your symptoms.
As for the mouth ulcers I am not quite sure the cause but many people just
develop these ulcers for no apparent cause.
